Personal Property of Section Members

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT ALL ITEMS OF CLOTHING ARE CLEARLY NAMED (Just picture a mound of 30 identical Cub sweatshirts…)

All personal property of the Group Members in the 9th Muswell Hill Scout Group at any activity is always the responsibility of that child and their parent(s). All personal property should be clearly marked with the child’s name and if possible scout group.  The Scout Group is not responsible for personal property and therefore will make no refund for the cost of any items damaged or lost.

Should your child bring home an item that is not theirs by mistake we ask that it is returned to a uniformed leader as soon as possible in order that the rightful owner may be located.

If you notice that your child is missing an item please contact a uniformed leader as soon as possible, who may be able to assist you in possible locations for you to search.

Any unclaimed items will be taken to the group AGM each year in order that the rightful owner may appear and claim their property back. Any items left after the AGM will either be disposed of or sold off, with the proceeds going into the 9th Muswell Hill Scout  Group funds.
