Fundraising

As with many other voluntary organisations fundraising is vital part of our work to provide the best and most valuable opportunities for all members of the group. At 9th Muswell Hill we take part in various fundraising activities throughout the year with the view to both supporting the general running costs of the group and to fund extra ordinary events such as larger camps, expeditions and trips.

In the past this has included activities such as bag packing, sponsored events, community service

There also a number of way that you can support scouting on a day to day basis such as Shop2Fundraise, Easy Search and Gift Aid Contributions.

We ask all families of the group to contribute to the fundraising effort. There are several ways to do this including organising fundraising ventures, joining the executive committee, supporting larger events run by the group or perhaps making a donation to our cause. By actively taking part in this programme we are able to reduce the membership subscriptions and cost of events whilst often continuing the fun and supporting badge criteria at the same time!
